Alstom signs contract to build stage 3 of Shoaiba in Saudi Arabia
01 Sept 2008Further to a letter of intent of 28 June 2008, Alstom today signed a contract with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to build stage 3 of the Shoaiba power plant, worth around €1.9 billion.
Alstom wins a new combined cycle power plant contract in Indonesia
06 Aug 2008Alstom has won a contract worth about 160 million euros with the national electricity utility PT.PLN (Persero) in consortium with Marubeni Corporation for the construction of a combined cycle power plant in Indonesia. The power plant is located at Muara Tawar, 35 km from Jakarta, on the northern coast of Java.
